“We Work Hard To Provide the Best Quality Products for (Extreme) Metal Drummers”

Founded in 2025, ViperTriggers was created with a clear mission: to make high-quality pedal mounted triggers accessible to everyone. My goal was to design a budget-friendly option without compromising on performance or durability. The result? A premium trigger packed with all the features drummers demand—adjustable height and angle, a replaceable sensor, and a solid, long-lasting housing built to withstand years of use. At ViperTriggers, we believe that professional-level gear shouldn’t come with a premium price tag.

Why ViperTriggers Exists

ViperTriggers started because I’m a drummer—and a frustrated one at that. I couldn’t find pedal mounted triggers with the features I actually cared about. Things like replaceable sensors and a design that was actually meant to be adjusted. What I found instead were overpriced options with limited flexibility or DIY hacks held together with duct tape and a dream.
For years, I made my own triggers. They worked… ish. Let’s just say they were more “homemade science project” than “professional gear.”

But here’s the funny part: every drummer I talked to had the exact same complaints. Triggers should make your life easier, not harder. You want to mount them to your pedals, adjust them once, and then forget they even exist. No cables dangling everywhere. No tape. No zip ties. No damage to your precious pedals. Just plug in and play.

From Frustration to Creation

In 2022 I had started my own 3D printing business, mostly out of curiosity and a need for custom parts. Very quickly, I got deep into the world of rapid prototyping, material science, and design optimization. In short: I got pretty good at making things that were simple, durable, and repeatable—without costing a fortune.

In 2025 it clicked. Why not combine my growing 3D printing expertise with my years of drumming experience (and complaints) to finally build the trigger I had always wanted but could never find?

So I started sketching, modeling, and testing. At first, the designs were rough. Then they were less rough. Then suddenly, I had a version that worked—and kept working. A compact, sturdy unit that felt like a proper piece of pro gear. No duct tape. No random screws from your dad’s garage. Just a clean, solid solution that could take a beating and keep performing.

The result?

Easy Replaceable Sensor – Let’s be honest: one sensor is none. You wouldn’t show up to a gig with just one pair of sticks, would you? Every ViperTrigger comes with a spare sensor. If one ever fails (it happens—eventually), you can swap it out easily, even between songs if you are fast!

Tool-Free Sensor Replacement – No one wants to carry four extra hex keys just to change a sensor. With ViperTriggers, if you’re even slightly handy, you can swap the sensor in under a minute—without any tools. Yes, really.

Adjustable Sensor Angle & Height – To get the most accurate response, the sensor angle should match the angle of your footboard when it strikes. That’s why ViperTriggers let you adjust both height and angle—with a single thumbscrew. Simple, effective, and totally drummer-proof.

Integrated Jack Connector – No more messy cables draped across your pedal. We engineered the housing to include a built-in jack input, so you can plug your trigger cable straight into the unit—clean, compact, and gig-ready.

Plastic Sensor Surface – No metal-on-metal contact means no damage to your footboard and no annoying click-click in your studio recordings. The sensor is made from impact-resistant plastic for acoustic silence and long-term reliability.

Budget Friendly – Thanks to my background in robotics and production optimization, and years of experience with cost-efficient 3D printing, I’ve managed to build a professional-grade pedal mounted trigger for a fraction of the price of other brands.
